Where did Kolt go?

Last Saturday we got to hit two neighbor kid birthday parties. They were great. First was Luke's 5th where Kambel got to make some dinosaur projects while the rest of us wandered through some renovated gardens that were created back in the 1890's. Good times.

Next up was Ragan's. Another great time splashing around in a variety of pools and waterslides in the Harris backyard. During the festivities, Kolt decided to sneak some cake - he thought he was getting away with it from the looks on his face - but Bill was there to capture the moment - and to facilitate if I know Bill...

Kolt's Locker Room

We were finally able to find some lockers that Kristal has wanted for years to put in the kids bedrooms. I was also able to find the bed of the year on Criagslist - amazed Kristal since she had seen one like it for over $100 - my find, $25!

Kambel's room looks like a High School Musical tornado hit it at the moment, so pics of hers will post later.

Holy Bamboo Batman!

Another year of Bamboo growth by the pond. Thought this was a cool shot with how tall these got. Growing time was about 10 days. Amazing stuff.

Backyard Makeover

I've been taking some heat for not putting pics of our "new" backyard. The sod has come in nicely, and we really like our creation for the outdoor bar. The tops were an idea from a magazine, and then Kristal came up with the great plan of matching benches around the fire pit. Nice job K!
